Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her most well-known character was in the role of Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Performance in Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She has also appeared as Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. The actress fell in love with performing in Preparatory School after which she moved to Ohio together with her family during the mid-70s. The theatre school she attended was Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons working in Chicago the theatre before moving to TV and film roles. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she played Arden for the duration of 29 episodes on Down the Shore. In the early 90s she was a frequent guest on TV and in films, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. In 2008, she was cast in the role of Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully was another of her characters. Gunn is also a part of the stage in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In addition, she played in the play Numbered Day. It is which is a series of audio dramas. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life tale and the tension in the marriage he shares with Skyler is mirrored in the show.
