Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza was born in 1984. She is an actor from the United States and comedian. Her name is April Ludgate, a character in the TV show Parks and Recreation. On The Jeannie Tate Show she was the first to debut on a web-based show by performing sketch comedy and improv at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. In her later career she became a star on Judd Apatow Funny People, Scott Pilgrim and the World. It is fitting to celebrate her birth this day. Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware the daughter of attorney Bernadette Plaza and financial specialist David Plaza. She is the daughter of Puerto Rican parents and an English-born mother from Ireland. Plaza went to an Catholic girls school from 2002 until 2006, then in 2006, she enrolled at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University. As a senior in high school, Plaza was involved at Wilmington Drama League shows and held the position of president for the student council. In 2004 while she was during her sophomore year of college, Plaza suffered a stroke which caused her to suffer from expressive aphasia as well as a time of paralysis. She's now completely recovered. Plaza has been performing improv sketch comedy, and a range of other styles at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater New York City in 2004. In NYC, she's been performing stand-up comedy on stage at The Improv and The Laugh Factory. Plaza has appeared on E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street & The Jeannie Tate Show playing the character as Robin Gibney and was also on the show as Ben Schwartz, as well as appearing as Robin Gibney for the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions.
